Media
The Media page manages your switcher’s media pool — the still images and clips that feed the media players. Open it from the Media item in the navigation.
Media players
Your model’s media players appear at the top as 16:9 cards — one, two, or four depending on the switcher. Each player has its own identity colour (MP 1 purple, MP 2 amber, MP 3 cyan, MP 4 green) and shows the source currently loaded into it as a preview thumbnail, with its name underneath. An empty player reads No media. Transport buttons (play / pause / restart / loop) appear only on a player that has a clip loaded — still players don’t show them.
A short banner at the top of the card reminds you how to load a player: long-press a clip or still and drag it onto a media player.
Loading a source
Long-press a still or clip and drag it onto a media player. Drop it on the player card to load it there.
Slots that are loaded into a player are marked with a coloured ring and a small MP badge in that player’s colour. If the same still is loaded into two players at once, the badge and ring use a blended colour.
Stills
On models with clip support, the clip section sits above the still grid; on models without clips, the still grid is the only pool.
The Still grid shows every slot in the media pool. Thumbnails are pulled live from the switcher, so they match what’s really loaded.
- Upload an image — tap an empty slot and pick an image from your device. It’s resized to the switcher’s video resolution (cover-fit — fills the frame, cropping the overflow) and uploaded to that slot.
- Clear a slot — tap the ✕ on a loaded slot.
- A still that is currently loaded into a media player can’t be cleared — its ✕ is hidden so you don’t pull a source that’s on air.
While a slot is being uploaded it shows an Uploading… state until the switcher confirms.
Clips
On models with clip support, the clip slots appear as video + audio pairs, the same way ATEM Software Control treats a clip.
