CastPad (“the app”) is a tablet and phone remote control for Blackmagic Design ATEM video switchers. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles.
Summary
CastPad does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
What the app does
- CastPad communicates only with ATEM switchers on your local network, sending control commands directly to your switcher.
- All settings (such as the switcher IP address, your layout, and source labels) are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Data we do NOT collect
- No accounts, names, emails, or contact information
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers
- No location data
- No usage or crash data sent to us
- No personal data of any kind
Network access
CastPad uses your local network solely to discover and control ATEM switchers on that network. It does not send your data to the internet.
Payments
If CastPad is offered as a paid app or includes in-app purchases, payments are processed entirely by Google Play. CastPad does not receive or store your payment information.
Third parties
We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any.
Children’s privacy
CastPad is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app’s functionality changes. If we ever begin collecting data, we will update this page and the Google Play Data Safety section before doing so. Updates will be posted here with a new date.
